Sharps old model 1874 Conversion 45-90 Cal 45-2 7/8, Bore VG plus has some fine pitting with strong rifling. Mech Exc tight action. Has a 30” Rd barrel with rocky mountain style front sight and original sharps rear sight missing the ladder and has Lawrence markings Serial#158128 under the barrel no serial number on the receiver which has the mecham style removal of the priming system. Lockplate and receiver have VG sharps markings. Has military style buttplate. Has double set triggers. Wood is VG plus and fits excellent . Metal overall has a blue brown patina finish with traces of some fine pitting. Has a Factory Letter from Richard Labowskie MD Stating the barrel is from a 1874 military rifle which shipped from Creedmoor Range on Long Island to Sharps NY Agent Edwin Harris They were shipped to Creedmoor Range for 1877 Military Rifle Matches. The 2nd entry shows the 40 rifles in this order were sold to John P Lower Denver sporting goods dealer. Has a sharps factory type forarm which suggests it may be a sharps factory conversion. More info in the letter. The serial # does reside in the range 157000 - 159000+ that Sharps was doing conversion lots for Schuyler Hartley and Graham, H Boker , JP Moore and B Kittredge.

Stock has original patchbox and inspector initials ahead or the buttplate on top of the comb. Has an original 22” barrel with original sights rear sight has Lawrence markings and has an excellent address and New Model 1863 markings. The receiver has excellent sharps and Lawrence markings. Serial#1942 matching the barrel. Metal overall has a dark blue brown patina finish with traces of fine pitting in areas mainly the bolt top.

Has a 33” Rd barrel with original sling swivels, sights and barrel bands. Ramrod looks correct with brass tip but has a repair. No markings and has fine pitting overall mainly in nipple area. The lockplate is marked E Whitney US in the middle and N Haven 1847 to the rear of the plate. Has the original brass patchbox, buttplate , side plate, triggerguard and barrel bands. The buttplate has the US marking. Metal overall has a dark aged brown patina finish.

Robbins & Lawrence US Model 1841 Mississippi Percussion Rifle 58cal Bore is poor traces of rifling, Mech VG, Wood VG plus no visible cartouche also has a piece of wood missing between the hammer and lockplate. The comb of the stock has been dished in or carved in to fit your cheek, excellent job and probably done by a soldier in the civil war. Has an original 33” Rd barrel with original sights bayonet lug dovetail and excellent inspector and proof markings. Overall metal has a dark aged patina finish with very little fine pitting. Has brass buttplate, patchbox, triggerguard, side plate and barrel bands. Has original sling swivels. This rifle has been upgraded for the civil war by adding the bayonet lug and the rear sight holes are there for the long range sight but now has a standard insert type sight. Lockplate has excellent markings and 1849 date.

Plains Rifle Percussion ½ Stock 45 cal Bore Ruff possibly could clean up with a soaking, Mech VG plus works well and holds on half cock. Wood VG plus no cracks or chips much above average. 11 ½ pounds. Has a 32” oct barrel with under rib and 1 1/8 “ across the flats at the muzzle. Has a brass cresent buttplate, toe plate, trigger guard, and patchbox The endcap looks like horn. Metal overall has a dark aged brown patina finish with some pitting in the bolster area. The lockplate has some engraving to the rear so does the hammer and the markings are not visible or faint. A lucky gun to be so old and heavy that the wrist hasn’t broken or cracked. No markings I can find. Must have been tough to haul this thing around back in the day. Definitely a work gun in this caliber

The wood case has age and wear with a repro flask, Oiler, Colt bullet mold, Screw driver and nipple wrench, percussion cap container and an reproduction ctg box. The box may be a colt made box or may be English. Shows good quality. The lining shows wear and use and may have been recovered .14 ½”x 10 ½” x 2 ½” The pistol is probably made in Belgium for the English Market.

The reciver has the Colt Patent markings on the left side and 44 cal on the triggerguard. The cylinder has some scene visible. Serial#3920 matching .Each serial# has a N under it. Has the original loading gate and ejector rod and tube. The brass triggerguard has 75%original silver finish remaining. Metal overall has 10% original nickel finish with some pitting in areas a spot on the ejector housing and on the cylinder. Probably a Mexican gun.
