These were reconfigured by after market companies to make them look more appealing to customers. The lockplate has an 1865 date and has an excellent eagle and US Springfield Marking. These are rare to find in any condition , this one would make a shooter as it has an excellent bore and mechanics. Metal overall is clean with no pitting and has some parts polished.

The cylinder is engraved and has a Belgian proof marking. The receiver is engraved and has the loading gate with the barrel having the ejector. The butt has the swivel for the lanyard ring. Metal overall has 80% original nickel finish.
