The pump attached to the stock portion which is the tank for the compressed air. The barrel action part tip unscrews and a brass tipped ramrod pulls out. A ball or bullet is pushed down the barrel. A large key fits into the side of the breech area and a button pops out which is the trigger. The barrel and tank are screwed together. The barrel small sights which you aim down and press the button to fire . Brass fittings with iron barrel and stock portion. The barrel unscrews and pulls out for cleaning. English Quality made. Overall has a black paint type finish. The box is felt lined with compartments for the parts. Has a Key and Brass bullet mold which looks to be for a larger caliber.

Canton Township Stark County Ohio 1848-1857. Very unabused rifle in Atic condition. Has a brass crecent buttplate, 2 brass inlays along side of the left side sideplate. The stock has quite a drop to it and has a small cheek piece. 11 pounds really a nice rifle. The finish of the wood shows the age and condition.

The cylinder has faint serial#matching the frame. The barrel #73465 and the triggerguard and backstrap is 45201. The backstrap and triggerguard are either from a saa or a 51 navy. Metal overall has 75% bright re-nickel finish flaking in areas. The wedge is a replacement. The gun works well and is not loose. Has a slim jim type holster.
